After being a SAHM for 5 years, it was time to get back into work - and was TOTALLY lost. What was I going to do now that I was basically starting over? What could I even do when I was still a part-time SAHM? Who even was I - because I sure as hell was not the same person I was before I became a mother?

I knew I couldn’t join the traditional workforce. I still had to pick my kiddos up from preschool at noon! What I eventually did was start my estate planning law practice. I was able to serve families in a meaningful way and still have control of my time.

Having my own business meant that I had control of my time. It gave me the flexibility to mother the way I intuitively knew I needed to. I knew there were other mamas out there looking to leave the 9 to 5 and the careers they had before they became mothers. I love estate planning, but I also knew I had to find a way to help as many mamas and women owned businesses as I could - and Radiate Confidence Contracts was born!
